Orientation to Mentoring & Volunteering w/Youth

The Friends of the Virginia Beach Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for tax purposes. Founded in 1992, the Friends of the VBJDRC, make a difference by developing relevant programs, providing trained volunteers for those programs, and working to increase public awareness of the needs of youth, their families, and the Virginia Beach Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Our Mission

• Operating quality programs as an alternative to institutionalization.
• Recruiting and training dedicated and concerned citizens and their families.
• Advocating the needs of youth, their families, and the Virginia Beach Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
• Conducting on-going fund raising campaigns to provide the resources to operate our programs.
